So, fun story: I thought I had to go to jury duty instead of Vancouver Fashion Week! Happily, the jury duty was cancelled at the last minute, and I instead got to go to VFW, win. I posted yesterday about my journey to VFW. In the end, I came screeching into town hot.

But enough about that, roll on with Vancouver Fashion Week! I love the incredible designs on the runway and the models who show them off so well.

But VFW also makes for fab people watching with the guests, and it’s also super fun to see the backstage glimpses. Who doesn’t love a peek into a secret world seeing how everything comes together?

One of the things I’ve loved about Vancouver Fashion Week is how inclusive it is of diversity. Better than that—championing diversity. I love seeing people of all ethnicities, genders, bodies and more shown on the runway.

I find lots of inspiration with each look and model. I wish I could draw them all!
